About me and my therapy practice

My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred therapy, CBT, and coaching to create something that truly fits you.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a warm, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and never judged.

I weave therapeutic work with practical coaching tools so sessions can move between deep emotional exploration and forward-focused action. This blend means we can work on the root causes of how you’re feeling and develop real, practical strategies to support your everyday life.

With 20 years in corporate IT, I have a deep understanding of high-pressure professional environments and the toll they can take. I love working with ambitious professionals, whether you’re navigating burnout, wrestling with what comes next, or simply feeling like you’ve lost yourself along the way. I also hold a compassionate space for those experiencing grief and loss.

I have a particular passion for working with neurodivergent clients, those with ADHD, autism, or AuDHD. As someone with lived experience of AuDHD myself, I understand firsthand how exhausting it can be to navigate a world that wasn’t built with your brain in mind. I also warmly welcome parents of neurodivergent children, who often carry a quiet but heavy emotional load of their own alongside advocating for their child.

Whatever has brought you here, you deserve a space that is truly yours.

Practice description

This is a warm and welcoming counselling and coaching practice based in County Kildare, Ireland. Sessions are available both in person and online, so support is within reach wherever you are.

The philosophy here is simple: real healing happens when we feel seen and valued as a whole person. Not just the presenting problem, but everything you are. Your strengths, your story, your hopes, and all the complicated, messy bits in between.

This is a welcoming space for adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, or major life transitions. It’s particularly well-suited to ambitious professionals who feel the weight of demanding careers, neurodivergent adults (ADHD, autism, AuDHD), and parents of neurodivergent children who need their own space to breathe and be supported.

As a Christian counsellor, I am happy to create space for faith to be part of our work together if that feels meaningful to you.  That said, this practice is equally and wholeheartedly welcoming to people of all faiths and none.  There is no agenda here beyond your well-being, and you will find nothing but warmth and acceptance, whatever you believe.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you get in touch. Taking that first step is more than enough.

My first session

Before we meet, you will be asked to complete some paperwork (not too much!), so we can make the most of our time together.

The first session is yours to use however feels right.  There is no set agenda and no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with.  Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want to say.  Others simply know that something needs to change, but don't know where to start.  Both are completely fine.

The main purpose of our first meeting is to get a sense of each other and to explore whether we feel like a good fit.  A strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful work, so it matters that you feel at ease.
